The parliament approved the
law, and the rules will take effect on September 1. From that date, new
accounts cannot be created, and platforms will have four months to delete
existing ones. Teens aged 15 to 18 will face usage time limits on these
platforms.
Age verification will be
carried out using special government-approved services, though time will tell
