COPA90 is
known for its youth projects, collaborations with Adidas, Nike, EA Sports, as
well as football stars such as Jude Bellingham, Romelu Lukaku, Bernardo Silva,
Ousmane Dembele and Thomas Muller.
The
historic appearance of the national football team at the World Cup attracted
the attention of millions of football fans around the world to Uzbekistan. The
visit was supported by the Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan,
and it became the first visit in the history of COPA90 to our republic.
During the
visit, COPA90 presenter Eli Mengem got acquainted with the football culture of
Uzbekistan, our fans, infrastructure and historical sites. The film crew
visited the Center of Islamic Civilization, the mahalla of the Old City of
Tashkent, the metro, Chorsu Bazaar, interviewed the legendary national team
player Timur Kapadze and participated in watching the Uzbekistan-Colombia match
at Bunyodkor Stadium on June 19.
According
to COPA90, the performance of the national team at the World Cup will attract
thousands of tourists to Uzbekistan who will want to get acquainted with Uzbek
football, as well as visit the country of their idols: Abbosbek Fayzullayev,
Eldor Shomurodov, Abdukodir Khusanov and others.
