According to the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan, first of all, Uzbekistanis who were unable to perform Hajj during the pandemic and paid for the trip until the end of February 2020 were included in the lists of pilgrims.
It is worth noting that Uzbek citizens who go to Hajj must be fully vaccinated with such drugs as AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson, and also have the appropriate certificate.
Pilgrims from Uzbekistan must also carry a package of 30 medical masks. Masks must be changed every four hours. A fine is provided for non-compliance with the mask regime in Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan Airports reports.
The first pilgrims of the "Umrah-2022" season flew from Tashkent to Jeddah
On January 22 of this year, Uzbekistan Airways took off from Tashkent to Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) with the first pilgrims - 241 people. According to preliminary data, two more flights are scheduled for January 25 and 28.
