The National Committee on Urbanization and the Housing Market considers it inappropriate to reduce existing green areas in the central part of the city and build capital facilities in areas intended for walking and recreation of residents.

The committee stressed that when creating parking lots, the reduction of green areas and the deterioration of conditions for pedestrians should not be allowed.

Separately, the committee drew attention to the land plot of one of the real estate objects related to the "Navruz" park, which is reportedly for sale. According to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 83 dated February 28, 2026, the creation of a 1.6-hectare public park in the mahalla "Matonat" Yunusabad district of Tashkent is envisaged on this territory.

In this regard, the National Committee considers it necessary to preserve the territory designated for a public park, use it exclusively for its intended purpose and ensure that the interests of residents are respected.
