It was
revealed that due to violating Russian migration laws, our compatriot was
detained by the law enforcement agencies of Novosibirsk and placed in a
temporary detention center for foreign citizens. Her minor child was
temporarily admitted to a specialized children's institution.
Regarding
the situation, the Consulate General provided urgent consular-legal assistance,
and the necessary documents for the child were finalized within a short period.
Additionally, organizational work was carried out in close cooperation with the
representative office of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk.
As a
result of the measures taken, on June 18 of this year, the mother and her minor
child were brought to the Novosibirsk International Airport, and the
reunification of the family members was ensured.
On the
same day, our compatriots were returned to our country via the
"Novosibirsk–Tashkent" flight.
The
diplomatic missions and consular institutions of Uzbekistan abroad consistently
continue their work to protect the rights and interests of our citizens staying
abroad and to provide them with the necessary consular-legal assistance.
