During the
talks, the parties noted their interest in further expanding trade and economic
cooperation, developing industrial cooperation and launching new joint
projects.
It was
emphasized that with the current volume of mutual trade of about $300 million
by the end of 2025, the parties see significant growth potential in such areas
as agriculture, energy, aviation and pharmaceuticals. The development of
cooperation is facilitated by the holding of the first meeting of the
intergovernmental commission, as well as the use of the C5+1 format.
The role of
the World Trade Organization (WTO), where Brazil supports Uzbekistan's
accession, was also highlighted.
The meeting
confirmed the readiness of both countries to implement practical initiatives
aimed at bringing the Uzbek-Brazilian partnership to a new level.
During the
visit, B2B meetings were organized at the Ministry of Investment, Industry and
Trade with the participation of more than 50 entrepreneurs from the two
countries. During the open dialogue, representatives of the business community
discussed promising areas of cooperation, identified specific projects and
reached agreements on the establishment of joint ventures.
