The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, co-chairman of the Uzbek-German Business Council from the Uzbek side Abdulla Aripov, executive partner of the Knauf Group company and co-chairman of the Council from the German side Uwe Knotzer, Director of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Michael Harms, as well as German Ambassador to Uzbekistan Manfred Huterer.

The speakers stressed that the economic partnership between Uzbekistan and Germany has been consistently developing, and the interaction of companies from the two countries has reached a new level in recent years. The growing attention of the German business community to the Uzbek market was particularly noted. It was noted that the ongoing economic reforms in the country, a favorable investment climate and infrastructure modernization processes create new opportunities for foreign investors.

The meeting of the Business Council, moderated by Michael Kharms, was devoted to investment in the automotive industry, IT, geology and industry. Presentations were made by representatives of companies and organizations Uzavtosanoat, Volkswagen, IT Park, Schwarz Digits, Henkel, CLAAS, Control Union, Telc, Ernst Klett Sprachen, Procab, Akfa Group, Almalyk Mining andmetallurgical Plant and the University "New Uzbekistan". Bilateral talks were also held during the event.

During the negotiations, the possibilities of implementing promising investment projects, introducing "green" technologies, improving energy efficiency, modernizing urban infrastructure and manufacturing building materials were discussed. In addition, special attention was paid to the introduction of modern approaches in the construction and utility sectors, the development of urban infrastructure, the use of energy-saving technologies, as well as the application of German experience in the practice of Uzbekistan.

The sides also exchanged views on issues related to the training of qualified personnel, the development of vocational education, the introduction of innovative solutions and the expansion of practical cooperation with German companies. B2B meetings were held between representatives of the business circles of the two countries, during which issues of developing joint projects, promoting investment initiatives and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed.

The meeting of the business circles of Uzbekistan and Germany will contribute to further deepening economic ties between the two countries, expanding the presence of German companies in the Uzbek market and implementing new investment projects.
