The forum is
organized by the China Foundation for Human Rights Development (CFHRD) and the
National Centre of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights.
The forum will
focus on the primary priorities of mutual cooperation between China and Central
Asian states in the field of human rights. Participants will discuss prospects
for collaboration in several key areas, including:
Implementing
projects for poverty reduction and improving public welfare to realize the
right to development; Environmental protection, green development, and the
protection of human rights; Advancing digital intellectual technologies that
support human rights development.
Approximately 100
participants (40 foreign and 60 national) are expected to attend, including
experts, academics, and representatives from government and business circles of
China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
The theme of the
fourth forum is "Jointly Advancing Progress in Human Rights through
High-Quality Development."
For reference, the
first forum was held on September 12, 2023, in Beijing; the second in June 2025
in Astana, Kazakhstan; and the third in July 2025 in Xi'an, China.
