The
meeting was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the
Republic of Uzbekistan, Major General
Botir Kudratkhodjaev, and the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the
Russian Federation, Police Colonel
General Andrey Khrapov.
During the
meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in combating transnational organized crime, preventing illegal migration, improving information exchange, and fighting
against illicit drug trafficking
and cybercrime.
Furthermore,
proposals were reviewed for the more effective organization of existing
cooperation mechanisms, experience sharing, and the conduct of joint operations
between the two nations.
At the
conclusion of the event, the parties reached agreements on new stages of
cooperation and future strategic tasks.
