The discussions focused on
labor market needs in the fields of medicine, tourism, aviation, and
information technology, as well as the organization of targeted training
courses in Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, a
visit of representatives from Qatar's Ministries of Employment and Health to
Uzbekistan will be organized. It was also agreed to establish an
interdepartmental working group and launch a specialized education program to
train medical personnel based on Qatari standards.
Additionally, negotiations
were held with Abdulhadi Barqan,
the head of Qatar’s state employment organization, Jusour. According to the agreement, a "Uzbekistan–Qatar Labor Forum" involving more than 50
employers will be organized in Tashkent in September 2026 for young people
interested in working in Qatar.
During a meeting with Fathi Atti, Vice President of Qatar Airways, an agreement was
reached to select 65 candidates
for the aviation sector in May and June of this year. These individuals will be
placed in high-paying positions as flight attendants, engineers, and airport
staff.
Furthermore, a project is
planned to recruit 1,600 highly
educated specialists in the future for roles in piloting, mechanics,
electrical engineering, and general engineering.
