According
to the press service of the State Security Service, he was detained at the time
of receiving 30,000 US dollars from a local businessman as part of the
previously requested amount.
It was
established that the attacker learned about the entrepreneur's plans to build a
non-governmental comprehensive school and a pre-school educational institution
on a 37-hectare plot of land in the Chilanzar district.
Pursuing
the goal of illicit enrichment, the man told the entrepreneur that he would be
able to organize obstacles to construction through local residents and various
organizations. At the same time, he suggested faking the situation as if he
himself was building on this site, and promised to "settle" possible
claims from citizens.
He demanded
360 thousand US dollars for his "assistance".
A criminal
case has been opened on this fact. Investigative actions are underway.
