A preliminary investigation conducted by the Tashkent
City Department under the Prosecutor General's Office revealed that responsible
officials of "G.B." LLC illegally connected to the public drinking
water network for commercial purposes in the Beltepa neighborhood of
Shaykhantakhur district. This resulted in the unauthorized use of drinking
water valued at 3.2 billion UZS.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 169
(Theft) of the Criminal Code, and investigative procedures are currently
ongoing.
