The main
agenda of the conference covers three directions: an international conference,
panel sessions, and two-stage B2B networking meetings among tour operators.
It is
precisely at these meetings that practical cooperation ties will be established
with companies that directly sell tourist services and promote them in foreign
markets.
The
strategic significance of the event for Uzbekistan lies in the fact that it
provides an opportunity to enter new markets. In particular, direct connections
will be established with companies that organize tours for the high-purchasing-power
segment in Canada, Great Britain, and Europe—namely, the diaspora of
Asian-origin Muslims. This opens the way to attracting able-to-pay tourists
ready for premium and luxury services to our country.
Excursions
and additional business meetings along the Khorezm, Samarkand, and Bukhara
regions are planned for the participants. Through this, foreign partners will
directly familiarize themselves with the developing mountain tourism,
ecotourism, gastronomic, and ethnographic tourism directions in Uzbekistan.
The
conference, organized in cooperation with the Tourism Committee and the
"Trip Group" tourism organization, gathers over 100 industry
representatives from more than 20 countries in the capital. This year,
Uzbekistan is hosting the event for the first time, which was previously held
in Turkey, Egypt, Vietnam, and Tanzania.
Major tour
operators from the USA, Canada, New Zealand, as well as leading countries of
Europe and Asia, will visit the summit.
