kWh of electricity was produced.
According
to the Ministry of Energy, as of March 20, this figure was 2 billion kWh.
Thus, since
the beginning of 2026, the volume of electricity generation has increased by
792 million kWh, or by 37% compared to the same period in 2025.
As a
result:

cubic meters of natural gas were saved;
The release
of more than 1 million 740 thousand tons of harmful substances into the
atmosphere was prevented.
In
addition, since the beginning of the year, as of April 20, Uzbekistan's hydro,
solar and wind power plants have collectively generated 4 billion 650 million
kWh of electricity.
As a
result:

240 million cubic meters of natural gas were saved;

of more than 2 million 674 thousand tons of harmful substances into the
atmosphere was prevented.
