The parties emphasized that the trusting dialogue between the heads of state
opens up new opportunities for further expanding cooperation in the media
sphere.
Members of the delegation attended the premiere of the documentary film
"Silk Road Youth: Uzbekistan." The film introduces Chinese audiences
to the lives and aspirations of Uzbekistan's youth.
Additionally, issues regarding the professional development of journalists,
the production of joint films, and the joint coverage of life in both countries
were discussed with representatives of the China International Communications
Group (CICG).
Within the framework of the visit, meetings with a number of China's
leading media organizations are also planned.
The main goal of the meetings is to create new creative and professional
opportunities for the national media sector.
