According
to the capital's khokimiyat, 1,103 trade and service facilities operate in
these territories, 315 business entities have switched to 24-hour operation,
and about 30 foreign brands have started their activities.
These
territories have become a new growth point for the city's economy. More than
4,9 thousand permanent jobs have been created, and the volume of tax revenues
has tripled.
Development
continues: currently, 18 more new shopping, tourist and gastronomic streets
with a total length of 21.8 kilometers are being created, as well as 3
embankments with a length of 4.6 kilometers.
Today,
Tashkent is increasingly strengthening its position as a modern, dynamic and
exciting city, attractive not only for residents of Uzbekistan, but also for
foreign tourists.
